Coton Show Information & Organizations
There are many show organizations in the United States and Canada that are open to rare breed dog competition for events that include conformation, obedience, agility and rally obedience. When it comes to conformation showing, point scoring systems can vary from organization to organization, ie: a dog must earn 10 champion points to receive a UKC Champion title, and 15 champion points to receive a CKC Champion title. Different clubs and registries can have their "own spin" on how points are accumulated for various wins and how classes are categorized within their shows. Study each organization's point system and know-before-you-go!
Where can I show my Rare Breed Coton de Tulear?
Click on the logo-links to these show organizations for showing and competing
with your Coton. You will find their event calendars, point systems,
registration forms to download or register online, along with show premiums.
Note: Sometimes a breed club will be hosting events for their own breed
only. Make sure that the show is an all-breed show, and/or includes a
"Companion" or "Toy" class.
