Coton de Tuléar Foster & Adoption

Coton de Tuléar foster & adoption is becoming increasingly important as the popularity of Cotons continues to increase in North America.

One of the purposes for which ACC was formed includes promoting health and rescue of the Coton de Tuléar dog breed.  ACC is a non profit 501(c) (3) public charity organization.  ACC is tax exempt and any donations made to ACC are tax deductible on the donor's federal income tax form.   ACC accepts donations and makes grants to worthy Coton de Tuléar causes in line with our mission statement.

How You Can Help

ACC is committed to helping its Code of Ethics breeders and their puppy families by creating an in-house network of foster volunteers and adoptive parents.  Please help by donating funds to the American Coton Club or by offering your time to help a Coton.

ACC needs volunteers to foster Cotons in need.  In many cases a foster home is needed as a safe place for a puppy or adult to temporarily recover and be evaluated before they can be moved to a forever home.   ACC is setting up a regional network of dedicated ACC foster parents who are willing to foster a Coton in an emergency situation when other avenues of help have been exhausted.  If you have the time and would like to help out a puppy or adult Coton in need please contact ACC to receive a foster application. Sharing your time and attention with a Coton in need is a rewarding experience.

There is also a need for new homes for Cotons that have been rescued or those that may be retiring from a breeding program. Rescued Cotons may, but not always, have medical issues or special needs which require extra consideration when selecting the best placement. If you are open and willing to share your love and home with a Coton who may have special needs or be a little older please let us know. If you are unable to handle a special needs Coton but can provide a loving home for a retired breeding Coton we still need you and would love to hear from you. Visit the ACC COE Breeders List for retired Coton availability or contact ACC.
